There's a burglar broke into my house at about 3 a.m. this early morning. My brother, Jim and sister-in-law, Rita sleep on the second floor. She saw a man wearing a black T-shirt with a flashlight was trying to open up the door of the bedroom. The torch lighted up the dark from the chink of the door on her face. She whispered to Jim what she saw as soon as she noticed there's something wrong. Then my brother jumped out of the bed, opened the door, and ran up to the third floor to look-see. My parents sleep the next door were waken up from the noise. As soon as Dad knew it, he ran down stairs to bring up a stick and ran up to the third floor with my brother. My brother, Jacky and I sleep on the third floor were waken up from the noise as well. As James Bond of 007, we checked up the house carefully if the burglar stayed here. All of us were too rash so that the burglar escaped away.As the result, we discovered the windows of the kitchen on
the first floor were on the ground, the burglar jumped into
my house because of non-burglarproof windows. Jacky lost
$1000 from the wallet, my bag was opened up and dumped
on the corner of the first floor. Fortunately I lost nothing as
I use credit cards, no bills, only some coins in my wallet.
All of us were fine, but felt insecure. Have learned safety is
the best policy. Better safe than sorry.
