A Chemistry Between Korea and Lynda

The weather has been cold since this week. Start to wear
autumn clothes. I LOVE winter so much.

The office is quiet as usual which bores me sometimes.
Now, I'm listening to the soundtrack of Wonderful Life,
Korean drama on IMEEM. The first time, I listened to
Kpop was many years ago, a friend sent me a Kpop CD.
I was touched by Kpop which made me feel good, even
I didn't understand any single word of Hangul. There's a
chemistry between Korea and Lynda. I've been fall in love
with Korean culture since then.

On March of 2005, I had a 5 days trip in Korea. Visited
the filming location of Winter Sonata, Korean series, and
learned skiing there. The view was spectacular which took
my breath away. Skiing was exciting. The speedy thrill was
enjoyable. I went up the hill and slide down smoothly. Wow!!!
It's fit for a KING! SUPER!!! Failed down only once. Aja! Aja!
Fighting!! Realized, the most difficult thing is wearing snow
shoes walk up to the top like a crab as it's tiresome. It's a good
try though. The most important thing about skiing is that it
teaches you to do the things you should do before you do the
things you want to do. Would love to go skiing some time soon.

I'm waving at you. Do you notice?...:o)
Let's go skiing, shall we?...:o")

BADA Forest 2008.07.27

The world is small. Met my favorite Filipino dancers,
Joliza, and Rhon again. Last year, we had a small talk
in the break time. They impressed me a lot by amiability.
Last Sunday, with my family, I had a BBQ in BADA forest.
There's a show of international aboriginal dance in the
afternoon. During the show, some dancers came down
from the stage to invite audiences to do hula. My favorite
dancer, Joliza came to the middle and passed by me to
invite my brother. I said nice to see you again to her.
She smiled at me and thought I knew you?
How disappointed I was! Finally, she recalled it.
Thanks for your long distance friendship, Joliza, and Rhon.
I love all of you. You're such great dancers....:)

The first time got close to the deers. They're gorgeous!
The deer was eating the weed.
There's a water park behind.
Excellent Filipino dancers saying ALOHA with me.
A smiley killer, Rhon, my brother, Jacky, a sweet dancer, Joliza, and a cool man dancer

BADA Forest 2007.12.02

Had a BBQ with my family in BABD Forest in December,
2nd of 2007. There was a show of Austronesian Cultures
Legend. During the show, they shared with audiences how
to do hula, a Hawaiian dance. Put your hands on your waist,
and shake your hip from right to left, then from front to back.
It's gorgeous, isn't it? Give it a try!...:)

My brother, Jacky danced with a sweet Filipino dancer, Joliza. Said ALOHA with me

Go Jogging

It's windy this evening. Have supper, do housework,
take forty minutes break, and then go jogging in the
park as usual. There's a park a few miles from my house.
It was a grave, now it's a park with a green land and
lots of trees. When I was in elementary school, there're
some rumors about it. Some said they saw spirits there
at night. It was spooky so I didn't stop by. When I grow up,
I realized it's not true. Rumor is rumor!

In the park, elders like to sit on the stone under the tree,
have a chat and drink tea. I've used to going jogging after
work since May. This evening, the wind was big. I enjoyed
the breeze kissing my face, and felt my body is light.
Discovered if I focus on jogging, I can run well, and longer.
It's amazing, isn't it?...:p

Answers.com

Today is the last day of June. Time goes by quickly when
I'm busy. I like to do final countdown when I've a goal,
to know what I have done, and what I need to improve.
It's a great way to reach the goal smoothly.

In the spare time, I love reading and writing. Answers.com ,
an online dictionary, is one of my favorite websites, knew it
from StudioClassroom, English program in Taiwan. Keep
reading Today's Highlights there daily. Once, I had a question
to the article, and emailed them. They replied to me right away.
It was awesome, wasn't it? Have learned a lot of western
cultures, and been benefited a lot from it since then. Whether
you are a native English speaker or a English learner, you'll like
Answers.com . Stop by and add some "Yay" to your day…*^.^*

Let's sing, and have fun, you guys. Stay cool!!

Summer Treats
by Doris Brougham and Johnny Wen

Ice cream, lemonade, cold and delicious treats, popsicles,
mango ice. They just can't be beat!

Iced tea, banana splits, it's so hard to choose. As long as
it's refreshing. We will never lose.

Summer time is fun time, with such good things to eat
That's why it's my favorite time to go and have a treat.

Dragon Boat Festival

Mom made rice
dumpings the day before yesterday. Every year
she does it for us as she loves cooking. I smelled
something good when I came downstairs.
How nice! It's rice dumping, my favorite.
Couldn't wait to have one. Yum...

On Dragon boat festival, Taiwanese people
eat rice dumpings, watch dragon boat races.
People use fried sticky rice with peanut as a base,
put stewed mushrooms, dry shrimps, peanuts,
porks in the bamboo leaves, wrap it up and then
put it in the pressure cooker for a few hours.
When it's ok, it's ready to serve.

During that time, some peopel may wear sachet to
keep devils away. At 12:00 kids may put the egg stand
up on the floor. I tried it when I was little. It's amazing,
isn't it?...:)

A burglar

There's a burglar broke into my house at about 3 a.m. this early morning. My brother, Jim and sister-in-law, Rita sleep on the second floor. She saw a man wearing a black T-shirt with a flashlight was trying to open up the door of the bedroom. The torch lighted up the dark from the chink of the door on her face. She whispered to Jim what she saw as soon as she noticed there's something wrong. Then my brother jumped out of the bed, opened the door, and ran up to the third floor to look-see. My parents sleep the next door were waken up from the noise. As soon as Dad knew it, he ran down stairs to bring up a stick and ran up to the third floor with my brother. My brother, Jacky and I sleep on the third floor were waken up from the noise as well. As James Bond of 007, we checked up the house carefully if the burglar stayed here. All of us were too rash so that the burglar escaped away.

As the result, we discovered the windows of the kitchen on
the first floor were on the ground, the burglar jumped into
my house because of non-burglarproof windows. Jacky lost
$1000 from the wallet, my bag was opened up and dumped
on the corner of the first floor. Fortunately I lost nothing as
I use credit cards, no bills, only some coins in my wallet.
All of us were fine, but felt insecure. Have learned safety is
the best policy. Better safe than sorry.
